Fatoumatta Jallow Tambajang was the vice president and minister of Women’s Affairs of The Gambia until June 2018; a proactive national womens' leader; pioneer and chair of the Coalition 2016 which democratically defeated a 22-year dictator; pro-democracy and human rights activist; political coalition-builder; former passionate U.N. international development management practitioner; resource mobilizer and partnership builder with wealth of experience in corporate governance and U.N. system policy and technical operations; and a trainer in policy formulation and development management, conflict prevention and management, gender mainstreaming, women’s transformative political leadership, and social entrepreneurship.
